Hydrogen vehicles have been part of a lot of debate over the past 20 years, and there has been a lot of speculation about technical design. How should the tank work? How can we ensure greater safety so that hydrogen vehicles do not meet the same future as the first hydrogen airship? And now, after rigorous testing, the second generation of the first hydrogen car has passed safety tests and has already cut corners on Czech roads. The price tag is set at a respectable 1700000CZK. Its range is said to be 650 km, with a maximum speed of up to 175 km / h. As for the price of hydrogen, 5.6 kg of hydrogen could fit in the car, and the price per 1 kilo is about 250, so it\’s somewhat less economical than I thought.
It is comparable to classic diesel and gasoline cars. But the advantage remains the notorious environmental friendliness, since the only waste is clean water. Therefore, thanks to this, the car can be parked in the blue zone. In addition, in the future, hydrogen car owners can look forward to a reduction in hydrogen prices. Return to security. With hydrogen, there was always the question of whether the car on this drive is not dangerous. When hydrogen is mixed with oxygen, it explodes.” So this can almost be described as impossible with this car. The tank was protected by a 3-layer wall, which prevented the car from catching fire or exploding when tested by bulletsfrom the gun.

Unfortunately, there are no hydrogen filling stations yet in the Czech Republic, but they should be ready by the end of this year. It should be in Prague in Barrandov. By 2030, there will be 20 hydrogen stations.
