For us humans to form a society, it is not enough for more individuals to come together. We humans become a society only when such people in one place cooperate with each other. When everyone has a hand in it, does something for others, and receives something from others in return.Society is simply a group of people helping each other. And sometimes we need to help each other. Because not all people live in the same place, in the same country, and with the same background. But everyone should be able to live with a minimum of dignity.

And how it works for us. We all know it. We used to be a socialist state, now we are a welfare state. We know what that means. It means that when someone is in need, he or she does not leave his or her fate in the hands of others. Others, more successful people, help that person to stay afloat.

Such help comes primarily through the state. Indeed, a variety of social benefits are available for those who are not as well off as they should be. And the higher one\’s income, the more one pays into this redistributive system and the less one receives from it. If anything. This is supposed to make us at least a little more equal, so that there is no total poverty.

But it is not only the state that does or wants to redistribute in this way. There are more institutions that are equally active. It is not possible to list them all.

We have food banks that encourage us to buy food that is distributed to the poor.

Some Salvation Army has already broken into my Facebook page to make financial contributions.

The foundation as well as the state pays for the children\’s meals.

And there are many more such institutions that want richer people to pay to help the poorer ones. What does this mean? For some, it may be a good thing that no one is disappointed. But I think our society is taking it too far. Because what we actually want is for those who enjoy success to have as little success as possible. And to contribute to those who are miserable because they don\’t want to contribute personally.
